#299
Add HexStrike Command Center web dashboard
Summary
- Adds
dashboard/: a small local Flask app that sits in front of the HexStrike AI server (http://127.0.0.1:8888) and provides a web UI to browse all 151 tools, fill in a generated form per tool, run it, and watch live output and process status — no MCP client required. - Adds
.claude/launch.jsonso the dashboard can be started as a dev server for quick preview in Claude Code.
Why
Useful as a lightweight, zero-setup way to exercise and demo the HexStrike tool server directly over HTTP, side-by-side with (not replacing) the MCP integration.
What's in dashboard/
app.py— Flask app (port 9000) proxying tool calls to the HexStrike server and exposing/api/manifest,/api/health,/api/processes,/api/run, and process control endpoints.tools_manifest.json/build_manifest.py— generated manifest describing each tool's route, method, and parameters, plus the script that builds it.static/,templates/— frontend (search/browse 151 tools across 12 categories, run forms, live output, live process polling every ~7s, health polling every ~5s).
Notes for reviewers
- Binds to
127.0.0.1:9000only (not exposed externally) and has no auth of its own — it inherits the same local-trust model as the HexStrike MCP server it proxies to. Flagging this explicitly since it's a tool-execution surface. - Run with
python3 dashboard/app.py, then openhttp://127.0.0.1:9000. Requires the HexStrike server already running on127.0.0.1:8888.
