Summary
- keep tab switching by swipe on phone layout
- allow switching tabs from any horizontal swipe start point, not only from edge zones
- keep behavior without sliding animations
Context
I have tried to do animated swipes several times but Codex failed me so I have decided to keep it as is.

- I didn’t see targeted regression coverage in the diff; please add or point CI at a focused test for the changed path in App.tsx.
