trivy scan

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I want to use your UI, but I am frustrated because I have to sacrifice image scanning to get proper multi-architecture support. Other tools like vibhuvioio/docker-registry-ui at https://github.com/VibhuviOiO/docker-registry-ui have built-in Trivy scanning, but their UI engine completely lacks multi-arch capabilities, showing only a single architecture or failing to render OCI manifest indexes altogether. Your client-side design handles multi-arch images perfectly, but lacks any security visibility.

Describe the solution you'd like I would like you to natively integrate Trivy scanning directly into your registry UI. The application should have built-in support to run vulnerability scans on image tags and display a clear security badge (Critical/High counts) next to the multi-arch listings on the dashboard.

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • vibhuvioio/docker-registry-ui: Has built-in scanning, but its interface is structurally incapable of handling multi-architecture manifest lists.
  • Harbor: Native scanning and multi-arch support, but it is massive, heavy, and complete overkill for a simple local registry setup.
  • CLI Scripts: Running manual Grype or Trivy scans via terminal crons works, but loses the visual convenience of an integrated dashboard.

Additional context Natively embedding a scanner would bridge the gap completely, making your tool the absolute best choice on the web by combining superior multi-architecture rendering with the vital security features users miss from Vibhuvi's tool.
