AutoMerge CI `signal 15: Terminated`

I keep getting a signal 15: Terminated error with the automerge CI: https://github.com/JuliaRegistries/General/pull/171751 . The package however loads fine on the tagged commit CI: https://github.com/bmad-sim/SciBmad.jl/actions/runs/38557702829/job/115830837973

@GunnarFarneback took a look here (https://julialang.slack.com/archives/C6M4DQA5P/p1791980773425179) but the issue seems to be more complicated
