Install IPAs through installd, without a profile that names the VM

• An app signed ad hoc (codesign --sign -, no certificate or profile) now installs through installd, the path Xcode uses.
• An app signed with a real development certificate installs even when its provisioning profile does not list the VM. The signature, certificate, entitlements and profile are validated for real; only the profile's device list is widened.
• The hooks run inside installd and misagent (libmisfix.dylib). Nothing in the shared cache is edited, so this works on iOS 27.0 without the boot failure from #532.
• A bundle with no signature at all, or without an application-identifier entitlement, still needs the VM window's IPA install, which does not go through installd.

Custom firmware

• cfw install works on iOS 27.0 (24A435) again. The mis_trust_auth shared-cache patch is no longer part of the Standard preset; it failed to apply on 24A435 and prevents an iOS 27 guest from booting.
• fw patch can be run again on the same VM. The first run keeps the original firmware in <vm>/FirmwareOriginals/, and later runs patch those.
• vm launch refuses a VM whose custom firmware install did not finish and names the command to run, instead of booting to a black screen (#531). Launchpad shows Custom Firmware Not Installed and offers Install Custom Firmware.
• New vphone-cli cfw update-environment, and Update Guest Environment in Launchpad's machine menu, update vphoned and the guest hooks on an existing, stopped machine without rebuilding it.
• Patches are named {component}-{effect}-{name}. The extended preset is now experimental, and Launchpad shows firmware as Standard, Experimental or Unknown.
• --force-dsc-maxslide is removed. It no longer had any effect.

VM window

• Device › Set UDID… and Reset UDID change the UDID that misagent uses for profile checks.
• Device › Skip Setup Assistant… goes straight to the Home Screen on an activated guest.
• The keychain browser can read, edit and delete items.
• Two-finger trackpad scrolling and pinching become touches in the guest. Esc and Device › Back perform the system back gesture (#533).
• Shift-Command-3 saves a screenshot and Shift-Command-4 copies one.
• An IPA compressed in Finder, which contains ._* files, installs.

Launchpad

• Core Bundle installs show their progress in a separate sheet.
• The machine table shows its selection in the accent color when it appears (#535).

Known issues

• On iOS 27.0, an app signed with a development certificate installs but is refused at launch with "Unable to Verify App" (0xE8008026). Ad hoc signed apps are not affected. A fix is in progress.
• xcrun devicectl device install app and device process launch time out on a VM. Use ideviceinstaller -u <UDID> install <ipa> instead.

Upgrading

Launchpad 2.2.0 requires VPhone.bundle 2.2.0 or later, and reinstalls its helper on first launch, which asks for an administrator password. To update an existing machine, stop it and choose Update Guest Environment. Download the notarized vphone-launchpad-2.2.0-notarized.zip below. vphone-launchpad-2.2.0.zip is an unsigned CI build of the same app.
