vphone 2.2.1
Development-signed apps launch on iOS 27.0
- An app signed with a development certificate, installed through installd, now opens on iOS 27.0 instead of stopping at "Unable to Verify App" (
0xE8008026). This was the known issue in 2.2.0. - SpringBoard checks an app's signature again when it launches it.
libmisfix.dylibnow runs inside SpringBoard as well as installd and misagent, so that check accepts the same apps installd does. Nothing in the shared cache is edited. - The hook reaches all three processes through the guest environment. No system binary is modified for it any more;
cfw installrestores the original installd and misagent on a machine an earlier version installed.
Known issues
xcrun devicectl device install appanddevice process launchtime out on a VM. Useideviceinstaller -u <UDID> install <ipa>instead.
Upgrading
Install the 2.2.1 Core Bundle. To update an existing machine, stop it, choose Update Guest Environment, then start it again.
Launchpad is unchanged — it stays 2.2.0 and still accepts VPhone.bundle 2.2.0 or later. The vphone-launchpad-2.2.1.zip attached here is an unsigned CI build of that same app; for everyday use, download the notarized vphone-launchpad-2.2.0-notarized.zip from the 2.2.0 release.
