vphone 2.2.4
Launchpad
- Machine settings and New Machine offer a new network mode, Tunnel. The inspector shows it as Tunnel.
- The title bar leaves room for the Home button's glass bezel.
Core Bundle
- New network mode
tunnel. The guest's traffic leaves through ordinary connections opened byvphone-vm, so it follows a VPN or a proxy app on the Mac (WireGuard, WARP, Surge or Clash in TUN mode). Innatandbridgedthe guest's traffic skips the VPN. It needs no root and no change to the Mac's network settings. To use it, stop the machine and pick Tunnel in its settings, or runvphone-cli vm config <name> --network tunnel. See Networking for what the guest sees and what it does not support (IPv4 only, outbound only). Thanks @lgzcoollg (#537). vphone-vmno longer stops when it writes to a connection the other side has already closed.vphonedhas the accessibility client entitlements, soui.treeworks on an app that has just launched instead of failing with-25215. Thanks @yannip1234 (#538).ui.treeandaccessibility.treeacceptnested: truefor a tree that follows the app's own parent-child links, with limits on node count, depth and time. Without it, the flat result is unchanged. Thanks @yannip1234 (#539).- The guest's
vphonedupdates itself the next time each machine starts.
Upgrading
Launchpad is 2.2.4 and works with any VPhone.bundle 2.2.x. Download the notarized vphone-launchpad-2.2.4-notarized.zip. The vphone-launchpad-2.2.4.zip built by CI is unsigned.
Choosing Tunnel needs VPhone.bundle 2.2.4; an older 2.2 bundle refuses it and leaves the machine unchanged. After a machine is set to Tunnel, keep it on 2.2.4 or later, or set it back to NAT before switching to an older bundle.
