Core Bundle

• Apps > Rebuild App Registrations does what uicache -a does for the bootstrap: apps added to or updated in the bootstrap's /Applications are registered again, and records of apps deleted from it are removed. The alert reports how many were registered, removed and left unchanged.
• The guest follows the Mac's time zone. vphone-vm sends it after every connect and whenever the Mac's zone changes, and running apps and the Lock Screen switch at once. vphoned gains time.timezone (GET/PUT /v1/timezone). (#559, icli 0.7.16)
• screen.unlock {passcode?, timeout?} wakes the guest and dismisses the Lock Screen, so apps.launch no longer returns device_locked after a boot or respring. (#558)
• fw catalog lists iPadOS 26.0 to 27.0.1 for every supported iPad and iOS 27.0 and 27.0.1 for iPhone17,3; vm create --device and fw prepare --device take an iPad model.
• fw prepare refuses a cloudOS without vphone600ap (every release after the 26.4 beta) before extracting anything, and names the catalog's cloudOS to use instead.
• Remote IPSWs are read from CDN edges that omit Accept-Ranges, so fw inspect reads cloudOS URLs from China again.
• svc loads a plist on RootHide as its launchctl would (icli 0.7.15).
• The zh-Hans wording follows Apple's conventions across the bundle and Launchpad. (#556)
• The guest's vphoned updates itself the next time each machine starts.

Launchpad

• Each machine is bound to its own Core Bundle version, recorded in launchpad.json in the machine folder. Installing a bundle no longer switches every machine; Change Core Bundle… rebinds the selected ones, and local builds install side by side as <version>-local.<hash>.
• New Machine offers iPadOS devices and their releases.
• Launchpad no longer crashes when a machine leaves the list, and starts with its window after a crash. (#557)
• vphone-launchpad-cli guest unlock, vm create --bundle, vm set-bundle and bundle set-default.

Upgrading

Launchpad 2.4.1 works with any VPhone.bundle 2.4.x. Download the notarized vphone-launchpad-2.4.1-notarized.zip, then install VPhone.bundle 2.4.1 from Core Bundle. The vphone-launchpad-2.4.1.zip built by CI is unsigned.
