Directory portal: "In review" shown while developer still needs to click Publish

What happened On Oct 24, my plugin (PPCD Method, shay08/pattern2products-plugins) passed the security scan and the progress bar moved to "In review." The card said: "It waits for an Anthropic reviewer; Publish records your request for them." I read that as the review already underway, so I didn't click Publish. About 16 hours later I learned Publish was still required. After clicking it, the card changed to "Publish requested. Your request is waiting for an Anthropic reviewer," but the progress bar still said "In review."

The problem The same "In review" label covers two different states: one waiting on the developer and one waiting on Anthropic. The docs (Track your directory submission) say "In review" means Anthropic acts next and nothing is waiting on the developer, so the portal and the docs disagree.

Suggested fixes

1. Make required actions unmistakable (e.g., a "Your action needed" label on the Publish step).
2. Separate "Awaiting Publish" from "Under Review" in the progress bar.
3. Confirm clearly when responsibility passes from the developer to Anthropic.
