Guest networking randomly breaks after a few hours

I deployed a small web server using Podman and krun and it works fine at first, but after a while (between 2 and 30 hours) the guest networking will hang infinitely and be completely unresponsive from the outside while using 100% CPU. I'm using TSI, not passt.

I suspect it's because of this line which makes the socket block. As a simple workaround I added setsockopt(&self.fd, sockopt::SendTimeout, &SEND_TIMEOUT) to set a timeout on how long it can block for, which seems to make the hangs last only a few minutes instead of infinitely. However, a real solution would require restructuring that code to never be blocking.
