Some keys are not mapped correctly

I am testing krunvm_0.2.7 / libkrun_1.19.5 / libkrunfw_5.6.2 / buildah_1.42.1on Ubuntu 26.04 host. VMs started as follows: buildah unshare krunvm start container-name I tested with Fedora and Ubuntu guests. The apps I am using to test are htop and mc (Midnight Commander).

I installed kbd package on both guests and weirdly enough, showkey -a shows the same codes on both guests and the host. But TUI apps in the guest do not react as expected. For example:

F1 -> N/A
F2 -> '/'
F3 -> 'SHIFT + *'
F4 -> '+'
F5 -> N/A
HOME - > N/A
END -> 'N/A

The rest of the keys and combinations seem to be working fine.

Unfortunately, I don't have a Fedora host and krun/podman-6 are not available on Ubuntu. Therefor I am unable to verify if the issue also manifests when using crun-kvm.
