What OS are you using the usb mode on? I can't replicate this but I've seen someone note it on their Pro as well and figured it was a one off issue. Trying to find some common replication steps

Do you ask about the OS of my computer? I use Kubuntu

Yeah so I'm just wondering if maybe linux isn't sending the same "command" as windows or macOS
I don't know, but it seems like it can detect when the drive is connected fine. And I think just unplugging the USB cable from X4C should work fine, because what kind of command could be sent in this case?

Valid. Not sure why it's different for you than me. I know there was a PR for this floating around that I didn't merge as I didn't think it was a universal issue. Will look into it
Where is that PR, I want to try if it fixes my issue

Interesting. Idk why I'd have to treat the x4c differently than the pro...does it work fine on your pro?
