Summary
Right out of the gates you may spot that the Home Screen got a fresh coat of paint (thanks to the work from @ChandhokTannay in his fork). While we're talking about UI changes, there's another large and noticeable difference, the Fonts have changed.
By default now, you'll see the Aleo font in the reader experience, swapped from Bookerly as it won't be possible to get a license to continue using it. I've also added a few font options, from the settings you can swap to Noto Sans, or Open Dyslexic, and set your font size from 4 options (small to extra large) along with some fine tuning of line spacing.
For those unhappy with the default button layout, you can now Configure Buttons. The back/confirm/left/right grouping can be swapped, and the volume buttons for next/previous page can be flipped.
In the reading experience, XTC support got a little boost with XTC Chapter Selection, and indexing new EPUB chapters should be about 70-80% faster now thanks to some internal file structure changes.
exFAT support has been added (your existing SD cards will continue to work fine). Directory scanning is significantly quicker on exFAT formatted SDs, so if you have large folders, consider reformatting your SD card to exFAT.
Enjoy your new years eve celebrations! 馃帄
