GitHub Sync is a repository setting, not a hidden migration job. See its health, choose which branches move back to GitHub, retry queued updates, and disable the connection when you are ready.

### Branches, tags, and commits

Sync all branches and tags or restrict outbound updates with a branch filter. Ref conflicts are surfaced instead of silently overwriting either side.

### Pull requests and issues

New pull requests, issues, comments, reviews, requested reviewers, and labels stay connected after setup, including edits and state changes.

### Reconcile when access changes

If GitHub access expires or a delivery fails, Trylle keeps the update queued. Restore access and reconcile from repository settings.

Existing unmatched GitHub and Trylle issues or pull requests are not merged during setup. Sync begins with new changes after the connection is enabled.

### Does setup merge existing issues and pull requests?

No. Existing unmatched issues and pull requests remain on their original platform. Matching numbers are not assumed to represent the same work. This avoids combining unrelated history without your approval.

### Can I limit which branches sync back to GitHub?

Yes. Choose all branches and tags or configure a branch filter in repository settings. You can update the filter later.

### What happens when GitHub is temporarily unavailable?

Trylle surfaces the failed connection and keeps supported outbound collaboration updates queued for retry. Restore GitHub access, then use Reconcile from repository settings.
