Operating system

Version

0.20.1.1 (Official Build, Chromium 156.0.8078.47) (64-bit)

Have you tested that this is not an upstream issue or an issue with your configuration?

  • I have tried reproducing this issue in Chrome and it could not be reproduced there
  • I have tried reproducing this issue in ungoogled-chromium and it could not be reproduced there
  • I have tried reproducing this issue in Helium with a new and empty profile using --user-data-dir command line argument and it could not be reproduced there

Description

When installing a website as a PWA, the main window background (the light/white text content area) renders with a blue tint. This does not happen in standard Chromium.

How to Reproduce?

  1. Open a website in light mode.
  2. Install the website as an app (PWA) via Helium.
  3. Open the installed app window. The background color of the webpage is bluish instead of plain white/gray.

Actual behavior

When the website is opened as an installed PWA app, the white background area where the text and main content are located shows a very noticeable and strong blue tint. Changing color profiles (like sRGB) or using extensions does not fix the color in the app window.

Expected behavior

The background color of the PWA-webpage should be standard or plain white/gray.
