Description
A way turn off hover-to-reveal for the top bar in Frameless mode.
Who's implementing?
- I'm willing to implement this feature myself
The problem
In Frameless mode, the toolbar slides down whenever my mouse reaches the top edge of the window. That happens by accident a lot, basically when I want to click almost any button that is positioned at the top of the page.
Possible solutions
I would love to be able to reveal or hide the top bar with CMD + L only (no hover).
Right now CMD + SHIFT + L makes the top bar permanent. Maybe CMD + SHIFT + L could toggle the states between always visible and always hidden. And CMD + L can show the Top bar just like it does right now.
Or at least just a way to disable the mouse hover to reveal the top bar behavior completely.
Additional context
This was mentioned as a comment in a separate issue: https://github.com/imputnet/helium/issues/1252#issuecomment-4361274339
The issue was about making the top bar float over the conten instead of moving it, but it would not solve the issue for me, because it would still be triggered many times by accident and would interrupt the browsing experience.
And since it was just a comment, I am opening a separate issue, just in case :)
