iPhone SE gets stuck during recovery

Hi, first post here, I am not sure if this is the best place to ask it but for lack of direction, I have an iPhone SE 2022 (aka 3rd generation) that randomly stops flashing iOS 26.5 at around 70% (or more specifically after 3 minutes). The first error message is "read failed" followed by few "send data failed". The process also fails on iTunes on Windows with errors 9 and 1109. Any hopes, tips or pointers?
