We maintain GEN, the creative AI video engineer, under poweredbyGEN. We would like to add GEN to Monid's hosted tool catalog and contribute a connector PR.
GEN researches, creates and publishes ads, cartoons, AI UGC, microdramas and social video. Initial connector candidates are asynchronous image/video generation and capability/model discovery.

GEN supports PATs and OAuth, free account registration, and agent-minted PATs. Video editing and social publishing are free; AI content requires credits funded by credit card or x402. Our x402 support funds account credits; it should not be represented as anonymous pay-per-call generation.
We read the connector authoring guide and its usage-credit and asynchronous lifecycle contracts. Before implementing the paid connector, could you confirm:
- Should GEN submit a REST connector using PAT header injection, or can the hosted catalog ingest a remote MCP directly?
- How should a prepaid GEN credit account be funded and reconciled with Monid's credit pool and settled usage? Is a provider commercial/onboarding step needed before the connector PR?
- For account-owned projects and jobs, do you support forwarding each customer's GEN credentials, or should the connector use Monid-managed credentials plus owned-resource isolation?
We can provide schemas and deterministic tests without publishing credentials. Please point us to the preferred provider onboarding route and we will implement against the existing connector framework.
