Sell My Company Data (https://sellmycompanydata.com) works out an indicative
range for what a company's operational records (chat, CRM, support tickets,
docs, code, email, projects, finance) could be worth when licensed for AI
training and evaluation. It works from summary figures only: counts, date
ranges and product names, never content or personal data.
This PR adds the two read-only tools of its public, keyless MCP server
(https://sellmycompanydata.com/mcp, Streamable HTTP, stateless) as a Monid
connector.

How it is built
MCP, one pinned tool per endpoint. Both endpoints POST to /mcp, and
each pins its own tools/call name in input.toRequest. Callers pass only
the tool's arguments, so a caller cannot reach another tool on the server.
The server is stateless (no session, no initialize needed).
Read-only. The server's third tool, request_offer, is not included:
it submits the owner's contact details to a human team and sends email and
Slack notifications. The estimate's next_step field names that tool, so
the endpoint's fromResponse replaces that one field with a pointer to
estimate_url (where a person can ask for a review). Every other field
passes through as the server sent it, and a test pins that.
Free and keyless.UsageModelKind.FREE, an empty credential shape
(z.object({})) and an identity auth.inject, the same shape as the
pending salesbook connector (#184). A test pins the egress: URL, POST,
three headers, the pinned JSON-RPC body.
In-band failures settle at zero. Streamable HTTP answers failures with
HTTP 200. A provider lifecycle.start lifts JSON-RPC errors, isError
tool results and malformed or mismatched-id envelopes to a synthesized 422
(providerHttpStatus keeps the real 200), the same approach as the
pending mermail connector (#192). fromError digests them to
{ message, code?, raw }, with the server's own reason as message.
Input mirrors the server's published tools/list inputSchema (server
v1.1.0, read 2026-10-29): strict at both levels as published, optionality
only, no defaults. The server also caps founding and system years at the
current year, which JSON Schema cannot express, so that check stays on the
server and comes back as a zero-billed provider error.
No engine, schema, preset or category change.ENGINE_VERSION
untouched. The record is in openspec/changes/add-connector-sellmycompanydata/.
Fixtures and tests
Four fixtures recorded from the public server on 2026-10-29 (made-up
figures, no personal data, no headers kept): the checklist, a qualifying
estimate, a below-bar estimate and an in-band refusal. They were captured
with curl rather than deno task record, so a test asserts each recorded
request body is exactly the one the connector sends.
provider.test.ts holds the compiled-shape test (once per provider).
Each endpoint has its own endpoint.test.ts, with shared helpers in
test-support.ts: happy replays, provider errors at zero usage (the
in-band refusal, JSON-RPC / HTTP / malformed envelopes, a non-JSON 500),
the schema gate with passing near-twins (the checklist pins that it takes
no input), pinned egress, a zero pre-run estimate, and live runs gated on
SELLMYCOMPANYDATA_LIVE=1 (keyless, so liveSkip has no credential to
gate on).
deno task check && deno task test pass with no network: 1312 passed,
0 failed, 223 ignored. That includes the 14 new tests here; the 2 gated
live runs are among the ignored. Monid's own ci workflow on this head
(af5e326), run in our fork because outside PRs wait for approval:
https://github.com/jamesrowdyy/monid/actions/runs/40821234723.
deno fmt --check and deno lint on the connector are clean.

Walkthrough
Adds a keyless, free Sell My Company Data connector with two read-only MCP endpoints: an assessment checklist and a data-value estimate. The estimate endpoint validates input against a strict schema and directs next_step to estimate_url. The provider handles MCP errors and malformed responses as provider errors. Recorded fixtures and tests cover requests, validation, successful responses, and error cases.

Drop the unreachable shape guard.
The caller rejects invalid structuredContent before fromResponse. The TypeScript convention also treats this redundant null check as a defect. Import Json as a type and cast the existing declaration.

Remove the redundant shape guard in the `fromResponse` flow and import `Json` as

`Record<string, Json>` so the caller’s validation remains the source of truth.

- Line 1: Split the endpoint-specific tests from provider.test.ts into separate
endpoint.test.ts files for assessment-checklist and estimate-data-value. Move
the checklist replay, pinned-egress, and zero-usage-estimate tests to the
assessment-checklist suite, and the estimate replay, refusal, envelope,
schema-gate, and egress tests to the estimate-data-value suite; keep the
compiled-shape testBundle test in provider.test.ts.
