Particle transcribes, diarizes and speaker-identifies 160,000+ podcasts, new episodes within minutes of airing, and exposes transcripts, entity mentions, guest expertise, sponsorship data and rankings over a REST API. There is no podcast-data provider in the catalog today; this adds the first slice, chosen so an agent can go name → show → episodes → dialogue → transcript, and name → entity → mentions.

X-API-Key auth via presets.auth.header, base URL https://api.particle.pro, 60 s timeouts, headroom over the engine's 30 s default for full-transcript reads (a few hundred KB); the recorded calls all answered in under a second.
One pool default in US dollars, pinned from Particle's published list prices (particle.pro/pricing, "Endpoint List Prices", Individual column, 2026-10-29): what an API-key account pays per call beyond its monthly bundle, on any plan. Provider-level PER_CALL $0.003; the costlier endpoints override only the amount. The OpenAPI x-payment-info.price on each operation is the keyless x402/MPP rate card, about 3x list, which a keyed account never pays, so it is not the pin. No usage.consolidate: no response body carries a receipt.
Provider-level output.fromError digests Particle's RFC 7807 problem+json (error_code, detail, resolve.message), raw envelope kept under raw.
New category leaf podcasts in connectors/categories.ts.
Fixtures recorded live on 2026-10-28 with a real key: one happy chain per endpoint plus one recorded 401 replayed per endpoint, trimmed by the fixture diet and scrubbed.

Checks
deno task check, deno task lint, deno fmt --check, deno task version:check (no contract change), and the full deno task test are green with the 22 new tests. Double compile with --frozen-meta is byte-identical.
connectors/ids.lock.json carries only the seven new ids. deno task ids:check on current main already reports pre-existing drift: 78 compiled ids missing from the lock (hunterio, keenable, litescrape, orbit, search1api, vaquill, magic-hour, and the renamed bytedance / fundable / suzanne routes) and 7 lock entries no longer compiled (the old bytedance / fundable / suzanne ids). Running --update would fold all of that into this PR, which seemed better left for its own change.
Adds a Particle connector with X-API-Key authentication, per-call USD usage, and seven GET endpoints for podcast and entity data. The endpoints use strict path and query schemas. The change also adds the podcasts category, endpoint identifiers, recorded success and unauthorized fixtures, replay and gated live tests, and connector specifications.

- Around line 122-125: Update the live test assertion on result to verify that
result.output contains a non-empty lines array, so a successful response without
transcript lines fails the test. Replace the fixed usage amount assertion with
this transcript-shape check.

@connectors/particle/endpoints/episodes-search/endpoint.test.ts:

- Line 39: Update the output.data assertion in this podcast episodes test to
verify its length matches the fixture’s two episodes, so an empty or incomplete

assertion in the replay test.

Rate card repinned in f1f86cf to Particle's published list prices (particle.pro/pricing → "Endpoint List Prices", Individual column, 2026-10-29): $0.003 for podcasts/search, podcasts/{id} and entities/search; $0.01 for podcasts/{id}/episodes, podcasts/episodes/search and podcasts/episodes/{id}/transcript; $0.015 for podcasts/mentions. The amounts first pinned were the OpenAPI x-payment-info prices, which are Particle's keyless x402/MPP rate card (about 3x list) and not what an API-key account pays. Tests, OpenSpec docs and the PR description are updated to match.
