1、In an omarchy, when using a macOS Bluetooth mouse to scroll, the scrolling jumps significantly, and it is not possible to scroll shorter and smoother. 2、When entering omarchy, the shortcut keys for Mac are all disabled, which is good, but it's very inconvenient when you need to switch between two display spaces. How can I keep a shortcut key for switching display spaces?

3"I" reproduced the scrolling problem on an M4 Max running macOS 26.6.2 and Try Omarchy 0.4.0 build 5.
The root cause appears to be QEMU’s Cocoa scroll handling in ui/cocoa.m. For every NSEventTypeScrollWheel event, it looks only at the sign of deltaX/deltaY and converts the event into one complete wheel-button press and release. This discards the magnitude of macOS’s precise trackpad deltas, as well as the distinction between regular, precise and momentum events.
I tested a small host-side patch against Try Omarchy’s pinned QEMU 11.1.1 revision. It:
- reads
scrollingDeltaX/YwhenhasPreciseScrollingDeltasis true; - forwards fine-grained horizontal and vertical values through new QEMU input axes;
- advertises and emits Linux
REL_WHEEL_HI_RESandREL_HWHEEL_HI_RESevents; - accumulates compatible legacy wheel steps at 120 high-resolution units;
- preserves the existing non-precise mouse-wheel path and pinch integration;
- retains macOS momentum events.
The patched ARM64 app built successfully, passed the focused Cocoa/virtio tests and runtime compatibility checks, and scrolling now feels substantially smoother system-wide in both Chromium and terminal applications.
The initial conversion uses one high-resolution wheel unit per macOS point. It feels good in real use on this machine, although that scaling could benefit from testing on additional trackpads and mice.
Attached is the source patch. It targets Try Omarchy’s pinned QEMU commit c3d48b7d1e89604920e5b81b91140c2ad39a1943 and is intended to be applied after the existing Cocoa pinch patch.
The scroll issue should be addressed by #239. I think it makes sense to allow the retention of some macOS shortcuts, like space switching. Will consider this as a new feature
For space switching, the only solution I've found is to set up a Hot Corner shortcut to Mission Control. I prefer the Ctrl+(arrow-key) shortcuts, but I haven't found a way to enable those without disabling the omarchy shortcuts.
