Steps to reproduce the bug

So here it is. This one has everything to do with channels. I recently discovered this within bitchat.. When you hit /j Then you enter a username to create a new channel in a region you cannot type in that channel. This is specifically for Android by the way. The mic works and picture thing works but you can't text..

However when I use it in a mesh network it works perfectly fine. No issues.

I am using 1.7.4 version on Android app downloaded from GitHub.. sorry I don't trust the Google Play store for obvious reasons. .

This application has a lot of potential and I would hope there is a fix for this ..
