Hello.
Could you please tell me whether you plan to create a version for the ESP32 that would act as a relay node?
I saw issue #508 regarding the desire to use Meshtastic. I don't really see the point of using a Meshtastic node when you could just use Meshtastic itself.
I found an interesting project — https://github.com/hackerhouse-opensource/bitchat-esp32 — that uses the Seeed Studio ESP32-C6 as a node. However, it doesn't work with the new version of the Android app. There is a pull request for this project — https://github.com/0JCRG0/bitchat-esp32/pull/1 — that resolves the issue, and I am currently using that code.
I also found this project: https://github.com/ScreamingEagleUSA/bitchat-esp32, which turns the ESP32 into a relay node.
To summarize: is there an official "bitchat-esp32" project planned for a full-fledged multi-mesh relay node that supports relaying public and private messages, as well as images and voice messages?
What can you tell us about this?
