Comparison to agent-browser?
agent-browser by vercel is the top dog in this category. It is already native rust executable, no playwrite , no node.js/typescript. How does playwriter compare to it?

Short version of the differences:
- One programmable
executetool vs 50+ fixed commands. Playwriter runs real Playwright JS (loops, conditions, variables) in a single call, so multiple actions happen in one turn. agent-browser is one command per action, or abatchof quoted command strings with no control flow. - Reusable
.jsmodules that receive the livepage. Save a parameterized function once and replay it, instead of re-running bash sequences. - Your running Chrome, not a new browser. Extension-first: your logins and extensions are there with zero setup, no permission dialog, no relaunch.
- Native
chrome.tabCapturevideo (no base64 CDP screencast pipeline), a Skill Recorder that turns a manual workflow into a reusable skill, built-in cloud browsers (stealth + residential proxies + CAPTCHA solving), and one-click remote tab sharing so a cloud agent (Devin, a Grok bot) can drive one tab of your own logged-in Chrome.
I tried to keep the agent-browser claims fair. If anything looks off, let me know and I'll fix it.
Not rust/go is a real blocker ;)
