Excessive ram and swap usage on non-appimage installs

was looking at this and it seems like it is also a problem with the non-appimage install too: https://github.com/ryzendew/Linux-Affinity-Installer/issues/106

I installed the unified app via the gui step by step and it installed fine but when opening it up it will eat nearly all 32GB of ram and then the kernel will put ram into the swap disk while consuming all 64GB of that and making the system very unresponsive until you force quit affinity.exe.

this is happening on an up to date cachyos running kde wayland.
