Server dies immediately after start on realme UI 7 / Android 16 (RMX3888) — toast says running, home says not running

Environment

• Device: realme GT5 Pro (RMX3888), realme UI 7.0, Android 16
• Shizuku: v13.7.0-thedjchi (fork), also reproduced with official v13.6.0

Symptom

1. Wireless debugging pairing succeeds (pairing code flow OK)
2. Tapping "Start" shows the "Shizuku is running in background" toast
3. Home page immediately shows not running — the adb-spawned server process dies within seconds
4. Battery optimization already set to unrestricted for both Shizuku and Termux; auto-start and associated-start allowed
5. rish from Termux reports Request timeout ... connection between com.termux and Shizuku app may be blocked (consistent with dead server)

Notes

• Same behavior across official 13.6.0 and this fork
• realme UI 7 appears to kill the adb child process regardless of battery settings. No root available to confirm via logcat.
• happy to test any debug build.

Question

Is there a known workaround on ColorOS/realme UI 7? (e.g. specific OEM toggle) Or is persistent server impossible without root here?
