Summary
native build on Windows fails at the compile obj <app>-app-code step with:
error: error: coff does not support linking multiple objects into one
Build Summary: 14/18 steps succeeded (1 failed)
It reproduces on a blank template app, so it is not app-specific.
Repro
native init tpl --template ts-core(accept defaults)cd tplnative build
The TypeScript core itself compiles fine (native scriptc core compile success,
native check clean); only the later native link step fails:
+- compile obj tpl-app-code ReleaseFast native failure error: error: coff does not support linking multiple objects into one
Environment
- OS: Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC 10.0.26200, x64
- Node: v24.21.0
- Zig: 0.16.0 (official zip, on PATH)
- CLI: @native-sdk/cli 0.10.1
Note: on a machine without clang, the build first stops at
spawn clang ENOENT in the scriptc stage; setting SCRIPTC_CC=zigcc
works around that and leads to the COFF failure above.
Expected
native build produces zig-out/bin/<app>.exe as documented.
Actual
Build fails at 14/18 steps; no binary is produced.
