matchbox-keyboard doesn't work in raspberry

Openenriqueolivieriopened 7y ago

I can't install matchbox-keyboard in raspbian for raspberry pi. I tried: sudo apt-get install matchbox-keyboard, but the instalation gives this error: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing? I tried with "apt-get update" and "--fix-missing" and neither work.

Thanks

Those Are the install instruction for original matchbox keyboard.. Not this specific branch..

You need to git clone it, then cd in it to theb build it.

$ ./configure $ sudo make $ sudo make install

If not working run this first (i had to on my pi)

$ ./autogen.sh

See this thread: https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=357597

Under bookworm it's very small, and takes focus when you use it so keystrokes don't go to the other window.

Are there easy fixes for wayland/wayfire/whatever? matchbox-keyboard is great, and I'm pretty sure wvkbd only works under wayland.
